The Punjab Sehat Card 2026 (also known as Sehat Sahulat Program) is a flagship health insurance initiative. It provides free-of-cost indoor healthcare services to the citizens of Punjab. Under this program, each registered family can avail of medical treatment worth up to 1 million PKR (10 Lakh) annually at both public and selected private hospitals across the province.

The Sehat Card covers a wide range of major medical procedures, including:

• Heart Surgeries: Angioplasty, bypass, and other cardiac procedures.
• Chronic Diseases: Treatment for Diabetes complications, Kidney diseases (Dialysis), and Cancer.
• Maternity Services: Full coverage for normal and C-section deliveries.
• Accidents & Emergencies: Immediate treatment for road accidents and life-threatening conditions.

To benefit from the Sehat Card program in 2026, the following criteria apply:

• Identity: All permanent residents of Punjab with a valid CNIC are generally covered.
• Family Registration: Your family must be registered in the NADRA database (Family tree/FRC).
• Special Inclusion: High priority is given to families registered in the BISP/NSER database.
• Checking Status: You can check your status by sending your CNIC to 8500.

Follow these steps to get free treatment:

1. Visit any empaneled hospital (Private or Public) under the Sehat Sahulat Program.
2. Go to the “Sehat Card Counter” and show your original CNIC.
3. The staff will verify your eligibility and family data.
4. After verification, the treatment process will begin without any upfront payment.
5. All medicines and tests within the hospital will be free under the allocated budget.
